From the outset, the project was ambitious. It began with a comprehensive site clearance and demolition, stripping the house back to its brick foundation. The rear wall of the dining room was demolished to pave the way for an open-plan kitchen and living area, complete with state-of-the-art aluminium bifolds. Every room in the house underwent significant changes, from the installation of new plumbing and electrics to the intricate details of decoration.
The exterior of the property was not overlooked. A new garden, complete with sunken seating, patio, and artificial grass, was crafted to provide a serene outdoor space. The garage was rebuilt, with a modern design featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing. Even the roof received a makeover, with the addition of a Sarnafil flat roof, lanterns, and multiple Velux windows.
